SpecOps 2006: Warfighter Symposium and Expo was held November 13-15, 2006 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Demonstrations, exhibits and presentations/workshops facilitated the exchange of ideas and information between research/academia, industry, government and military attendees. SpecOps 2006 enabled attendees to explore emerging technologies and the latest in products and services promoting warfighting effectiveness, efficiency, adaptability, utility and mobility of special operations forces.

WHO ATTENDED: Over 1500 attendees from military, academia, industry and the international defense community attended SpecOps 2006 Symposium & Expo.

PROCEEDINGS:  Presentations available for distribution have been forwarded to registered symposium attendees.

WHO EXHIBITED: 113 companies provided exhibits and interactive show floor demonstrations in the  156 10x10 display spaces at the SpecOps 2006.

PRESS AND MEDIA:  Significant press coverage accompanied SpecOps 2006.  Articles highlighting new technology, exhibitors, and the symposium presentations were featured in local and regional papers as well as national defense publications.  The Expo hall also garnered regional ABC and CBS news coverage as well as Ft Bragg TV coverage.
