Why Exhibit?

Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) and roadside bombs continue to be the biggest single threat to troops and civilians in Iraq and Afghanistan.  The 2007 DOD budget provides $2.1 billion for the Joint Improvised Explosive Device program which will facilitate development of technology to counter IED threats.

The access to military and industry leaders as well as end users/operators at IED 2007 makes it THE PLACE to exhibit for any organization or company with technologies, products or services to aid in the prevention or mitigation of IED attacks.

 Exhibit Rate:

  • $22.00/sq. ft.
  • Booths sold in 100 sq. ft. increments
  • Add $250 fee for corner booth space
  • Add $500 fee for island space greater than 100 sq. ft.

Demo Zone

The Demo Zone (DZ) allows attendees and guests to view simulated demonstrations, emerging technology and showcase large platform capabilities for mitigating Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). Indoor and Outdoor Demos are planned for IED 2007. Exhibitor demonstrations are scheduled on Monday, June 11, prior to and during the Opening Preview and Reception.

Who Attends?

IED 2007 Symposium & Expo will attract key military personnel from all services, industry leaders, government officials and research agencies involved in developing solutions to combat IEDs worldwide.  International defense contractors, foreign allies in the War on Terror, and Defense Attaches are invited and will be in attendance as well.

The Fayetteville area is within just a few hours of major military installations including Fort Bragg, several major military airbases (Oceana Naval Air Station, MCAS Cherry Point and New River, Pope and Seymour-Johnson AFBs), MCB Camp Lejeune, and Norfolk Naval Bases,and major research universities as well as industry in the Research Triangle Park area.  Defense personnel from these areas will be targeted for symposium and expo attendance.

IED 2007 will offer exhibitors opportunities to present products and services to a national and regional audience. Close proximity to Ft. Bragg and Camp LeJuene make IED 2007 an ideal press opportunity. IED 2006 drew strong media attention by local, state and national/international publications including Jane's Defence and the Washington Post.
